Who We Are

NEVARI is an ecommerce skincare house operating through nevariskin.com. References to “NEVARI,” “we,” “our,” or “us” mean the NEVARI website, catalog, account, checkout, delivery, mailing, and support experience.

For privacy questions or requests, contact concierge@nevariskin.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.”

Scope

This Privacy Policy applies when you browse the site, create or use an account, place an order, save an item, subscribe to NEVARI updates, request support, submit a return or delivery issue, use checkout, or otherwise interact with NEVARI online.

This policy does not cover websites, payment wallets, carriers, or services that operate under their own privacy policies, even when those services help us provide the NEVARI experience.

Payment information. Payment is processed through secure payment processors and supported wallet/payment services. NEVARI does not store full card numbers or full wallet credentials. We may receive limited payment details such as payment method type, last four digits, billing verification results, transaction identifiers, fraud signals, authorization status, and refund status.

Technical and device information. IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URLs, page interactions, approximate location derived from IP address, session identifiers, cookie identifiers, checkout security signals, and logs needed to protect the site.

Sources of Information

We collect information directly from you, automatically through the site and checkout tools, from your account activity, from payment processors, from order, delivery, and return records, and from service providers that help operate the site.

How We Use Information

We use personal information to operate the catalog, create and maintain accounts, process orders, provide checkout, verify payment, prevent fraud, ship products, track deliveries, review returns or delivery issues, process refunds, manage saved items, maintain mailing preferences, send service messages, answer customer requests, improve the site, protect security, comply with law, and preserve business records.

When you subscribe to NEVARI updates, we use your email address to send product releases, formulation notes, launch announcements, private updates, and related brand communications. You may unsubscribe through your account or through the unsubscribe controls provided with marketing emails.

Checkout, Payments, and Fraud Prevention

Checkout uses secure payment services. Payment processors and supported payment wallets may collect payment credentials, device identifiers, wallet details, authentication data, and fraud-prevention signals under their own terms and privacy policies. NEVARI receives only the limited information needed to confirm, refund, and support the transaction.

We may use fraud-prevention tools to verify order authenticity, detect suspicious checkout behavior, prevent unauthorized transactions, protect customer accounts, and reduce chargebacks. These checks do not make legal or similarly significant decisions without appropriate review.

Delivery, Tracking, Returns, and Refunds

We share the information necessary to prepare and ship orders with NEVARI operational providers. This may include recipient name, delivery address, product details, shipping method, tracking identifiers, carrier status, and return or exception evidence.

Return and refund requests are reviewed through the order record. We use order data, carrier data, delivery evidence, payment status, and any submitted documentation to determine next steps. Approved refunds are returned to the original wallet or payment method when possible. Original outbound shipping is not refunded on approved delivered-order returns unless required by law.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

NEVARI uses cookies, local storage, session identifiers, and similar technologies to keep checkout secure, keep the cart working, maintain account sessions, remember site preferences, record cookie consent, support mailing-preference state, protect against fraud, and understand how the catalog is used.

Essential cookies. Site, checkout, payment, and security tools may use cookies or similar identifiers for account login, cart state, checkout, payment authentication, fraud prevention, and site reliability.

Preference cookies. NEVARI may store preferences such as cookie-consent status and mailing-subscription state, including values such as nevari_cookie_consent and nevari_updates_status.

Analytics and performance. If analytics tools are enabled, they help us understand aggregate catalog behavior, page performance, and browsing patterns so we can improve the site. We do not use this information to sell personal information.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking certain cookies may affect cart, checkout, account login, saved items, payment authentication, and mailing-preference behavior.

How We Share Information

We share personal information with service providers and processors that help us operate NEVARI, including website hosting, checkout services, payment wallet providers, fraud-prevention tools, order preparation and delivery providers, shipping carriers, email and mailing systems, customer support tools, analytics or performance providers, professional advisors, and legal/compliance providers.

We may also disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, regulatory request, fraud investigation, safety concern, terms enforcement, business transfer, financing, merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are commonly used in U.S. state privacy laws. If that changes, we will update this policy and provide required opt-out controls.

Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

Orders and tax records are generally retained for accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, warranty, return, chargeback, and compliance purposes for up to seven years or longer if required by law.

Accounts, saved items, address-book details, and preferences are retained while the account remains active or until you remove the information, close the account, or request deletion, subject to legal and transactional record requirements.

Mailing subscriptions are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. We may retain a minimal suppression record to honor unsubscribe requests.

Return, delivery, and support records are retained as needed to resolve the issue, document the decision, prevent abuse, and comply with legal or accounting obligations.

Cookies and technical logs may be retained for session-based periods, browser-defined periods, or up to thirteen months for consent/preference records unless refreshed, removed, or required for security.

Your Choices

Account. You can review and update account details, addresses, saved items, payment preferences, and mailing preferences from My Account.

Mailing. You can unsubscribe from NEVARI updates from your account or by using the unsubscribe control in a marketing email. Transactional messages, order updates, shipping notices, security alerts, and policy notices may still be sent when necessary.

Cookies. You can clear or block cookies through your browser. The cookie banner links to this policy and records acceptance when you select “Accept Cookies.”

Saved items. You can remove saved items by selecting the heart or remove control where saved items appear.

California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, including the right to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and not be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Residents of Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Oregon, Texas, and other U.S. states with privacy laws may have similar rights where those laws apply. EEA, UK, and Swiss visitors may have GDPR-style rights, including access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Legal Bases for Processing

Where GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar laws apply, our legal bases may include performance of a contract, consent, legitimate interests, compliance with legal obligations, protection of rights and safety, and steps taken at your request before entering into a transaction.

Sensitive Information

We do not ask for government identification, precise geolocation, health records, biometric identifiers, or other highly sensitive information to browse or purchase from NEVARI. Please do not submit unnecessary sensitive information in support or return messages. If you voluntarily provide information that could be sensitive, we use it only as needed to respond to your request, protect the transaction, or comply with law.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information, including secure checkout, limited access controls, encryption in transit where appropriate, payment tokenization through payment processors, and monitoring for suspicious activity. No online system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International Transfers

NEVARI is operated from the United States and uses providers that may process information in the United States and other countries. If you access the site from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to countries with different privacy laws than your country of residence.

Children

NEVARI is not directed to children under 13 and is not intended for minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate steps.
